my mum found out i cut about a week ago and she told my school (I was off ill all week) and now i have to go in on monday and face it. I don't even know why i started. I think it was being bullied, but the bullying was only small. I found out she had cut too, but where as i have about 20-30 cuts that haven't healed and have done it about 40-50 times (5 months) she only did it 4 times. I said not to do it again, but she wants me to go to the doctors and then counselled or something and I just don't want to and she's making me. I don't think she looks at me the same either. It's weird. But do it, she will understand as best as she can and try to help. reply

tell her how you feel. tell her why. if you tell her, first say , mom... i dont want this to affect our relationship. i have been through an up and down life. its been two years, and i have been keeping this from you... mom, im sorry. i cut. it's not because of you. it's life. reply
