I'm in love with a 16 year old convicted felon. Before you judge, hear me out. I've loved him since before he got convicted. Honestly, it's not as bad as you think. He got charged with unlawful possession of a firearm for stealing a gun from his grandpa. Yes, it's still bad but he did it for protection. He made some bad choices and got mixed in with some bad things but wanted to get out and didn't know how his "friends" would take it so he took the gun so he could protect his family from his bad decisions. His punishment is 10 days in juvy, 24 hours community service, a year probation, and about $1000 in fees which he's paying out of his own money that he's earning by working. He's taking resposibility for his stupid decisions and is doing his best to change. He's been seeing a psychiatrist too and figuring out all of his problems. He's commited to becoming a better person not only for himself but for his family and me. Inside, he's still that amazing boy I fell in love with. He just made some stupid mistakes. Haven't we all? Sure, his were pretty bad but he's taking resposibility and has devoted himself to being better. He wants a bright future. He's still the strong, loving boy that's always wanted to join the Marines. He may not get to now but he'll do his damn best to have an amazing future and I plan on being by his side the whole timeā¤
