   Sometimes I wonder if writers just sit around thinking about all the ways they can rip out the reader's hearts then laugh maniacally and stroke their cat and spin around in their evil rollie chairs while contemplating how much pain they shall inflict upon the poor saps who read their stories.

   This isn't really a quote... I just had to put it out in the open and say thanks.
   Several months ago, I never thought I could have real happiness again. You know, the kind that lasts, even after the moment's gone. Used to, I would smile for a few seconds then the numbness would come back.
   But now, things have changed. My smiles are real again. And I feel like they're even more real than they were before I got depressed. It's like that whole situation made me grow up and have actual feelings. Before all of that, I didn't know how precious happiness is. Like they say, ignorance is bliss.
   Now I feel like I can understand people better. So no matter how horrible I felt back then, I'm glad it happened. And you guys got me through it.
   I must also give thanks to my amazing boyfriend who makes me so incredibly happy everyday, and he excepts me as I am.
   And Lace too, for the times that when we talked and I could forget about myself for a little while. Helped me survive.
   And Bekah who laughed with me, and brought me out of my shell, and is also the reason that I am who I am today. I owe you so much. Without you, I don't know what kind of person I would be today. It's too hard to even describe how much you influenced my life. Even though a lot of the time back then, you were focused on somebody else... *wink wink*
   Thank you Witty, for making me smile when I could barely do it myself. You are all amazing.
