    when my blind grandmother was dying, i was the only one with her.
    she held onto my hand as tight as she could saying,
    "i don't want to go.." i asked her,
    "can you see anything? heaven? a light" god himself?"
    she only replied, "no. nothing. just darkness, is that all i will ever see?" then, she left.
