We all weigh joys and darkness and goodness and sin
you see, we are infinite within this skin we are in.
So when they ask you what you weigh
you don’t need to look down at any scale.
Instead, simply tell them the truth,
    tell them how you
    weigh whole universes
and storms and scars and stories too.
    —n.g., WHAT I WEIGH.

Don't be stressing a girls weight..
    Guys these days want a girl with a "super hot body" ;
When they dont look good themselves, looking
    like no type of hottie.
Beautiful people everywhere & they're all around me.
Guys stay stressing a girls weight when they're looking
    all scrawny.
Why should feelings get hurt? God made them in a beautiful
    way.
Why so quick to criticize? ; Always picking on their weight.
No a$s, no b0obs ; it that what you aim?
Not every girl has what ya'll want ; so don't bring tears down their
    face.
Man the f-ck up! Personality counts too.
You'll be surprised how quickly a girl can make you fall
    in-love without having an a$s or b0obs.
We speak before we think, go ahead and step in their shoes.
How would you like being called "too fat" or "too ugly"
    when the girl you like
    is saying that to YOU?

When I truly fall for someone, I can't get them out of my heart for a decade. Sometimes I can almost physically feel the weight of every love I've known, pressing down on my shoulders. I wake up with them, I go to sleep with them. A few extra minutes to get out of bed, a bit more drag on my shoes as I walk. Sometimes I feel they are too much to bear.
I love you. I am terrified of you.

Guilt drags you down beneath the waves

    Heres some advice,
Stop trying to imagine your body being something that it is not. Embrace the body you have and remember that there isn't a book called society that says you have to be a specific weight to fit in with everybody else.

Being skinny does not protect you from insults

So many people do not seem to realize being really skinny can actually have a lot of downsides.
Just because you are a size 0 and you are really thin, does not mean you feel pretty, or confident.
And it does not mean you are more liked...
skinny is a body type, and not everyone likes it...
People tell me I am too skinny all the time, tell me to eat more, and tell me I would look better if I weighed more....that is not fun to hear
Being skinny does not take away all your problems

I do not like when people say “when I am skinny, I will finally be happy”...or “when I am skinny, he will finally notice me”....Losing weight does not necessarily mean you become any happier, and people do not always notice you just because you become thinner...If you have low self esteem to begin with, making yourself smaller wont always make you feel better about yourself...I am naturally skinny and always have been. Then I lost even more weight (because I developed an eating disorder) and now I feel even worse about myself... so just because you have an idea in your head that being skinny equals being happy, it does not mean its true for everyone...

    Just because you lose weight,
does not mean you will gain confidence
    Skinny people are insecure too

Being skinny does not mean your life is perfect or easier..It also does not mean you are more confident. I am really skinny and I still feel bad about myself. I am so insecure about my weight, that I am worried to start an Instagram page because I dont want people making rude comments...Being thin does not protect you from insecurity and it does not mean you feel pretty. Most days, I do not feel pretty or beautiful at all

"do you know how many people would love
    to have to gain weight?”
    tell me, then,
    would you love to
see your body the way I see mine?
    because
there is no room for grace
and I will never be satisfied with
    good enough.
every line and curve and movement
    could always be better
and I don’t want to stop until I’m enough.
    would you love for
    food to turn into fear,
    exercise into punishment,
    compliments into lies,
    friends into competition?
because everything that once was logical
will be twisted around and around
until you don’t know what is real
    and what is not.
    would you love to
    spend every morning
    on the floor in tears,
surrounded by a pile of clothing?
    because
    nothing looks right anymore
nothing fits like it used to
    and you’re scared of others
seeing you as just a body.
    after all,
that’s all you ever saw in yourself.
    would you love to
have every action and every thought
    monitored and analyzed?
    would you love to
have your one piece of comfort
    stripped away?
    recovery is more
    than gaining weight
    because I am
    more than a number.

Being without sleep for too long feels so strange because it`s as if this conflict is happening inside your body. It can`t decide if it wants to cave in under the weight of being awake or
    blow up and float away.

This is just my opinion, but I feel the dieting industry is one of the biggest scams
Think about it. Diet ads and all that, really do just set people up to feel worse about themselves
People compare their bodies to unrealistic things they see in the media all the time....most of media images, are photoshopped...so I really don't understand why people just can't recognize that and not let it make them obsessed with the way they look
Staring at a photo of a thin or fit person....is not going to make you thin or fit, which is why it does not make sense to beat yourself up, because you don't look exactly like that
Yes, there are lots of obese and overweight people who really do need to lose weight, but its been proven that diets do not work....most people regain whatever weight they lose within 1 to 5 years.
Diet ads, and weight loss programs do not try to build your confidence, they basically drill the same message into your brain, which is
"You, right now, are inadequate...ugly, too big, fat, average, whatever. In order to be better, you have to be thinner. smaller, skinnier, you have to lose weight, otherwise you will not look good"
I think most people "diet" to look a certain way, not necessarily to be healthy
That is why everyone seems so superficial today and why people are litearlly doing anything they can to lose weight, even if they don't need to
I never needed to to lose weight. I am naturally skinny and small, I have been my whole life. My whole family is naturally skinny. So no one understands why I developed anorexia. I don't even understand it, but I didn't choose it. People always think really stereotypical things about it...which makes it not sound serious, but it actually is really serious. People always say "Your anorexic? I don't understand...So do you not eat? Is it because you think your fat?"
And sometimes people say really stupid things like "I wish I could be anorexic"
No, you don't....Anorexia is a horrible eating disorder, not a diet
Is there anyone who doesn't diet and who doesn't want to lose weight? because it seems like everyone does
