Here's a funny little story:
One day I was at the pool with my cousins. Now, at the time, one of my cousins was only four, so he didn't know much obviously. Anyway, his mom had brought some slices of watermelon for all of us to eat after we swam. Now, mind you, my family's Kurdish, so we all speak with a mix of both English and Kurdish. So my little cousin wanted some watermelon, and decided to shout across the pool that he wanted some. The problem is, though, is that the Kurdish word for 'watermelon' is 'sh.ite', so my cousin ended up yelling, for everyone to hear, "MOMMY! I WANT SOME SH.ITE!"
Yeah, you can just imagine the amount of stares we got.
