While you keep doing the things that you do, shifting blame, and twisting truth And making absolutely positively sure that everybody in the room is certain That the victim just had to be you, well I'll keep doing the things that I do And I'll find someone who wants me like I wanted you (The Cardboard Swords - Flannel )

it is difficult being a workaholic. work and money are two huge status symbols and is easy to idolise. just makes it harder to diagnose when there is a problem. cuz society wont tell you and you think your friends are over-exaggeraring the potential problem.

“ It is okay to be at a place of struggle. Struggle is just another word for growth. Even the most evolved beings find themselves in a place of struggle now and then. In fact, struggle is a sure sign to them that they are expanding; it is their indication of real and important progress. The only one who doesn’t struggle is the one who doesn’t grow. So if you are struggling right now, see it as a terrific sign — and celebrate your struggle. —Neale Donald Walsch ”
