I used to believe the less you reveal about yourself, the more people can wonder about you

sometimes you really need a harsh reality check
sometimes sweet words do not cut it
sometimes, you need to hear the truth, even if it is brutal
that if you really want to get better, you must help yourself
no one is coming to save you
and sometimes you really just need to wake up and stop expecting people to
it is not beautiful or romantic to be helpless
it is brave and inspiring
to want help

if you do not have really close friends or people in your life to confide in or make you feel better
you must find ways
to confide in yourself
and make yourself feel better
and for me
it is to write poetry
or listen to music

every rude or critical comment ever spoken to me
every insult ever spoken to me
every mean person I have encountered
to personally affect me

A difficult problem will not better your life
It will just complicate it
And make you miserable
And not the endearing kind of misery portrayed on tv
Just misery
The boring kind
Because sadness is really not poetic, unless its being portrayed on tv or in a book
In real life, it is just pain
No beauty
Just suffering
Just emptiness
And just a constant feeling of isolation
