It scares me how some people have their whole life planned out by the time their like 10,
they know exactly where they're going to school and exactly what they're going to be,
meanwhile I can barely decide whether I want pizza or burgers for dinner.

My dream date isn't planned, it's a day where we can go anywhere without interference, it's a day you hold my hand and kiss me randomly, it's a day we spend all our money on train tickets and game stalls, it's a day when a movie turns into a panicked sprint through the rain after our bus. I want to get grounded for a month and know I'd do it all over again given the chance. I want to be able to look back on that day no matter what happens to us and know that, in that moment, we were perfect.
Can you do that for me?

I never plan my poetry.
I never spend more than 10 seconds figuring out what to say next.
Because if it's planned ahead,
it's not how I really feel.
It's just a perfected version of the real poem,
that makes sense to others if they read it,
but not to me.
and that's what counts.
