R.I.P
Today, April 8th at 1:47 pm, my grandfather passed away. He was an amazing man and a great inspiration. He was a war verteran that served for a countless number of years and even raised 5 children with my grandma. He always cared about everyone and everything. If there was ever a sick animal anywhere he would be the first person to offer it a home. Even to the day he died, he was asking about a three-legged dog that was on the news and needed a home. This man was more than just another guy, my grandfaher was a dream. I wish that I can have half the amount of strength and wisdom he had. And his biggest worry? making sure my grandma was okay. She has dementia which means her brain can't function properly and has little to no memory. He took care of my grandma for 61 years and now will look over her for the rest of her life. The amazing part though, my grandma, even with her dementia knows he is gone. She keeps saying that she sees him and he's helping her, and honestly, we all believe her. My grandpa was a veteran and will protect each and every one of us until we die. Although he won't physically be here, he will forever stay in our hearts. Rest easy grandpa. We all love you<3
