i feel like my friends don't
tell me a lot of the things that they tell other people they talk to, and for the simple fact that I don't kiss a.ss. When you choose to confide in me, you're choosing to hear my perspective on a situation, and I give it to you, positive or negative. I don't praise you when I truly think you've done something rude or asinine. I don't pretend to agree with everything that comes out of your mouth. I tell you straight up when I believe you used poor judgment, and I'll explain why I believe so if asked, but I don't apologize for having my view on the matter, because I feel that if you're telling me about it you want to hear what I have to say about it as well. And I guess people don't like that, and I guess I understand why. They like being applauded, they like having their pride validated. No one wants to hear that was stupid or that was really uncalled for as opposed to that was savage, girl, kill 'em! But it still stings a bit. It makes me feel like I'm not worthy of being confided in. And I hate being out of the loop. I hate not knowing things that other people do, no matter how trivial the piece of information. And, honestly, I'm just a jealous, high maintenance person who doesn't like feeling like somebody else is seen as smarter or more important to said friend and so they'd rather give them details that I'm always spared.

yes, it still hurts...
and it's still going to hurt as long as i hear his name escape from people's mouths, as long as i see his face without any regards to me, as long as i smell his scent and get reminded of the music he likes and all the memories of when everything was so safe, so secure, when i thought we had a future together and all the overflow of good i terribly took for granted. you just need to understand that it's going to hurt until mentions of his name slowly dwindle away, once i start to have trouble remembering the sound of his voice and the smell of his cologne and the cute names he used to call me because someone better is calling me cute names and loving me for who i am and treating me ten times better than he ever will be and will have their heart set on me and intends to be with me for a very, very long time. but until he completely vanishes from my world, it's going to fncking hurt. because it only feels like a stab to your chest every goddámn day knowing that someone can basically disregard your existence in a matter of weeks, go right to someone else and walk around like you never meant shít to them and that nothing ever happened between the two of you. you feel like you've been disposed of and yeah, that's going to hurt.
i'm still angry, i've got every right to be, and i'm not apologizing for it

do you think that when snakes are swimming down a stream doin their thang, and it get to a shallow part where there is rocks and stuff before it gets deeper, they're like "wtf? what kind of resistance training bullsh/t is going on here?" like they're just basically floating their way to a new location when suddenly they have to work for it.
