If you live in the US and have ever sent a message to someone telling the recipient to kill themselves you've committed the felony of encouraging suicide and depending on the state's laws (meaning what class felony it is) you could be looking at a fine of $25,000+ and 10+ years in prison, just for encouragement. If they actually do it you are legally responsible and in some stares you can also be charged with manslaughter.

If I become a drug dealer, I'm going to say to my customers, "Now put that in your pipe and smoke it!" and we'd all laugh and then I'd call the police because drugs are f.cking illegal.
Friend: I can't believe you illegally downloaded music! Me: Huh? Friend: I'ts against the law! Me: So? Everyone does it. Friend: And if everyone was going arround murdering people, would you be doing that, too? Me: Come on, everone hates me. I'd probably be the first to get murdered.
