What if the .1% of germs that don't come off when using hand sanitizer eventually kill off all of humanity?

In your life there will always be people who love you,
or people who will one day love you. But sometimes that doesn't feel like enough. As a human, your body, full of nerves sending electrical pulses to each other, is meant to feel. Your heart is designed to beat.Your mind is like a wheel that has been designed to spin in so many different directions. Your hands are curved in just the right way to hold another hand, your lips are designed to be pressed against another set of lips and to whisper sweet nothings. You, as a human, a living creature, are designed to live. Never give that up, and remember, your lungs were meant to breath.

Write down every quote you think of
    (even if it sucks )
Because if you don't, you might forget it
and that quote that you posted could have kept somebody at their computer for 10 more seconds
and if they had walked out their door 10 seconds earlier
they wouldn't have slipped on that apple rolling down that hill
    that make them fall.
Let's just say this person was trying to find the cure to cancer
and when they hit their head against the floor, they had an epiphany
that made them realize the cure to cancer
and one of the people that that person saved was Norm Norman the philosopher,
the only person to see the meteor heading towards Earth
and he just so happened to have a sister...
(who by the way was also cured from cancer)
who built a spacecraft that had room for everybody in the world
and 10 seconds before the meteor hit Earth,
    everybody hopped on that airplane...
    and flew to Mars,
    saving all of humanity.
So I guess you could say,
    that writing down that quote
    could save all of humanity.

the ocean does not become dirty

3 months ago, my cousin told her mother that she was a lesbian. Her mother was ashamed and told her not to tell anyone because she was afraid our family would be ashamed.
Last weekend, my cousin stood next to her little sister as she married the man she loved. At the wedding reception, she got up in front of all our family and friends and said "Mom, I know you told me to keep this a secret but I'm sick of living a lie. I don't care if people are ashamed of me and my choices. I like women. And tonight I brought my girlfriend to the wedding. I love her, and some day I'm hoping that we can stand up in front of our family and friends and say our vows." Everyone clapped and hooted and whistled. And during the first dance, her little sister said "Bring your girl out and dance with us. It'll be both our first dances of our new lives."
My family's ability to overlook differences in beliefs and accept something like this, despite our strict Catholic background has completely restored my faith in humanity.

I have been dying to learn that
trick you do with your heart. The
one where it expands and its
    walls become soft and accepting
of all the flesh and blood and
    disasters that grow around it.

But we are not nearly as great as we
think that we are, and surely not as great as we make ourselves out to be. We're fools and liars, cruel, cold, and, despite our so called "advancements" we are uncivlized savages wearing the mask of humanity to hide the wild, unthinking beast underneath.

I swear I lose brain cells every time I go on Facebook.
There is not a day where I look at all the posts there without
being ashamed for humanity or getting scarred for life.
I just saw a picture of a person crapping their pants with a caption that says,
"Like if you think this is gross, Ignore if you want your mom to die."
First of all, how is ignoring a disgusting picture mean I want my mom to die?
That doesn't make sense, in any way, at all.
Like there is no possible connection you can make
between my mom's death and that picture.
So you best leave my mama out of this.
Second, OBVIOUSLY I'M GOING TO THINK IT'S GROSS
YOU SHOWED ME A PICTURE OF SOMEONE CRAPPING...
THEIR BUTTCHEEKS ARE ALL OVER THE SCREEN YA NASTY.

Life isn’t meant to exist in a narrow color spectrum of perpetual happiness. That’s a movie. It’s not reality. Experience all your vivid, fiery, watery emotions. Give yourself permission to be full bodied. You’re peeling. Revealing. It’s a messy, magnificent process.

You know what makes me sad? It's 2013, and people are still fighting to get their full rights. People are still terrified to come out of the closet, rápe victims are shamed (both men and women victims, yes MEN CAN BE RÀPED TOO). Women are still fighting to be considered equal to men. There are still people who look at two men/two women in love and say "no, your love is wrong because I say so." There are still people who will go up to a homeless person and physically bash them. I can't beli9eve there is so much hate in the word, so much stupidity. It's so disheartening because such bigotness is being passed down from generation to generation. People aren't born hateful, they're taught it.

    Sometimes I wonder
If angels look down at us and laugh a little,
    With us like strange fish,
Bright and colorful in a vast swirling sea,
And we know the width but are still trying to find the depth.
What fascinating creatures we must be!
With our power for light or dark or most often both,
With our strange acts of love and hate,
    All the things we do
In this one, short, fleeting life of ours
That must pass in the blink of an eye.
    And the angels might laugh,
    Walk away and say,
    "How ridiculous, how strange!"
    And they are exactly right.

You can talk with someone for years, everyday, and still, it won't mean as much as what you can have when you sit in front of someone, not saying a word, yet you feel that person with your heart, you feel like you have known the person for forever.... connections are made with the heart, not the tongue.~ Quoted by C. JoyBell C.
