    History
is largely told as a chronically of great people doing great things.
But, for most of us, life is not made up of big moments,
it's made up of small moments.
    And, with every small choice,
with every small decision we are defining ourselves.
    Are we honest?
    Are we faithful?
    Are we proud of ourselves?
Or are we disappointed in what we've become?
Life rarely turns out the way that we planned.
The unexpected happens and it surprises us
    with new and exciting possibilities.
    But sooner or later,
reality hits you in the face.

So there has been alot of quotes recently about missing the old witty,
and I have been doing a pretty good job about keeping my mouth shut.
I had a witty back in 2010, and yeah it was different, there were some good aspects back then
but it was also much worse than it is now.
In the old witty, your chances of making top quotes was one in a million
on witty now, everyone seems to have an even chance at making top quotes
Back then we had way more egotistic boys and fake accounts
on witty now, there are more real, kind people.
It is easier to make friends and grow close to people now
and although it may not be the same as the old witty
I think witty now is still pretty great. Just be grateful
that it is still here, because we almost lost it at one point
there could not be a witty, so stop complaining
and if you want the old witty back
put as much effort into changing it as you do complaining
and maybe, just maybe, we will get somewhere.
    ~End Rant~

For those not in the know, Night Witches were Russian lady bombers who
bombed the sh//t out of German lines in WW2. Thing is though, they had the oldest, noisiest, crappiest planes in the entire world. The engines used to conk out halfway through their missions, so they had to climb out on the wings mid flight to restart the props. The planes were also so noisy that to stop germans from hearing them coming and starting up their anti-aircraft guns, they’d climb up to a certain height, coast down to german positions, drop their bombs, restart their engines in midair, and get out of there. Why isn't this taught in history class?

MOST OF YOU WEREN'T EVEN ALIVE WHEN IT HAPPENED.
BUT TODAY IS A VERY IMPORTANT DAY FOR AMERICA.
AND IF ANY OF YOU HAVE A HEART,
YOU WILL TAKE THE TIME TO READ THIS.
It was a day that changed our nation.
Friends and family were left weakened by missing loved ones.
But the spirit of America grew stronger than ever.
    Today is a day we remember those that were taken from us;
and to thank those who's memory kept us from falling.
It's been a long, hard road since 9/11/01,
and it will continue for many years.
HERE ARE A COUPLE OF QUOTES ABOUT 9/11 :
"All of a sudden there were people screaming. I saw people jumping out of the building. Their arms flailing. I stopped taking pictures and started crying."
"Time is passing. Yet, for the United States of America, there will be no forgetting September the 11th. We will remember every rescuer who died in honor. We will remember every family that lives in grief. We will remember the fire and ash, the last phone calls, the funerals of the children."
THINK ABOUT IT FOR ONE LONG MOMENT:
You may think it isn't a big deal.
You may not even know what 9/11 is.
    You may not even care.
    BUT YOU SHOULD.
I know half of you won't read this quote.
And if you took the time to read this, I thank you.
    REMEMBER
to hug the people you love today.
more importantly, tell them YOU LOVE THEM
Because you never know when their last day will be.
    9/11
    NEVER FORGET

:)
