The List
Chapter Eight
My head was spinning as Cameron set me on his lap. I had way too much to drink. Cameron stroked my hand and looked into my eyes. "I really like you." he said, stroking my hair. I could smell off of his breath he was intoxicated too.
"I really liked you too." I giggled. He kissed me slowly. Then after a couple of seconds he pulled back.
"I want you to know that I've always liked you, even before the list. I'm really glad you chose me." he kissed me again, but this time I pulled back. "What are you talking about Cam?" I was so confused.
Cameron's rough hands gently cupped my face, and his eyes welled with tears. "I don't want you to forget me." but this time he hugged me so tight. "I won't ever forget you." I promise, still letting him hold me.
"Let's just lie here." Cameron started to break down on me. This huge football was crying on my shoulder. And I had no clue why.
"Baby, tell me what's wrong." I tried to soothe his shaking body.
"I can't loose you...I just can't." now he wouldn't even look at me.
"Don't worry I'll always be with you."
"No you won't."

Can people look at things from a different perspective for once?
We hate on how hateful the world is. We tell others that they're beautiful and insult ourselves.We bully the bullies. We tell others to be theirselves and we put on a mask.
But that's kind of hypocritical, is it not?
Maybe the world would be a better place if we just learned to accept that there are flaws in everything; the world, in other people, in ourselves. If we learned to love and embrace both the good and the bad.
Maybe that will trigger a chain reaction and everything will change for the better.
Can people just stop for a minute and think about that?
