complaining about how unoriginal a
quote is? How original...
I hate when everyone on here says
yourcool and other "witty famous"
people steal all of their quotes
from other sources; ie tumblr.
First off, do you even see all of
their quotes? Like, yeah a lot of
them are from other places (who cares)
but a lot of them aren't. They have their
own quotes, and the ones that aren't
theirs they generally give credit.
Are all of your quotes 100% yours?
probably not.
And second of all, Steve specifically
said that reposts from tumblr and
other sources are allowed. They're
not breaking any rules, so why are
you so bothered? It's not hurting you
in any way shape or form, and it's
not unfair.
Calling it a quote itself sets it up
for unoriginal content anyway.
Afterall, a quote is words taken
from someone else. So what's
the big deal? They took someone
else's words, and posted it. Not
everyone has a tumblr, get over it.
A vast majority of things on tumblr
didn't originate on tumblr, do you
see anyone complaining about all
the unoriginal content? No.
Lyrics aren't "original", are you
complaining about that? No.
Quoting historical figures isn't
original, yet does anyone complain
when they see a quote like that? No.
It's quite funny how you all complain
about people who are "witty famous"
for posting stuff that isn't "original",
yet when Steve posts a well known
quote, you all jump on the faving bandwagon.
You wouldn't dare talk bad about him,
as you shouldn't, it just seems a bit
hypocritical.
