    Don't fall.
    Chapter 6
    He led me to the water and there was a big flat boat.
    He grabbed my hand and led me closer to it.
    He looked at me, "Wanna go?"
    I looked down at my outfit, "But, look at what I'm wearing." I protested.
    He slipped of his hoodie and handed it to me, "Be right back." He said running.
    A few minutes later he returned with a pair of baggy basketball shorts.
    I smiled as he handed them to me, "I'll go change I guess."
    He laughed, "Yeah you go do that."
    I slipped of my top and put on his hoodie. It smelled strongly of him and it was warm.
    I took of my jeans and shoes and put on his shorts. They were more like pants on me.
    He laughed when he saw me, "Wow. You look good." He said.
    I rolled my eyes at him and I put my hair up into a messy bun. "Lets just go." I said.
    He came closer to me, "You look good. Don't worry." He whispered in my ears.
    "Lets go." I said.
    A few moments later we were out on the water.
    "You know those shorts are too long for you." He said in a teasing tone.
    I grimaced, "I know."
    He laughed, "My arm is taller than you."
    "No it's not."
    "Yes it is," he fought back, "You're little."
    I felt my stomach harden as I changed the subject.
    "So, what else do you guys do for fun around here?" I asked casually.
    "Well, there's always parties and the beaches. We go tubing and boating a lot. There's always things to do. We all have a huge group message every morning and we make plans for the day." He finished. "You'll probably be included tomorrow morning." He laughed.
    "How do you know?" I asked.
    "Because I know my sister and her friends. They don't usually invite 'outsiders' to these things."
    "What did you mean by 'outsider'? I asked trying not to get offended.
    "No one knows who you are. But they invited you here. No one knows anything about you. Except that you're here for the summer." He said, trying to use the right words.
    I shook it off and I stood up, "I wanna jump in."
    He looked at me and laughed, "You're not wearing a bathing suit."
    I slipped off my hoodie and shorts, "That's all I wear in the summer."
    He laughed at me and slipped of his shirt and shorts, "You're crazy. You know that."
    "Yup. I know."
    He threw an anchor into the water. "Okay, let's-"
    He didn't complete his sentence, I had already pushed him into the water.
    "You're gonna get it. I swear." He said to me.
    I dove over him, "If you can catch me."

    Chapter 2
    *About drunk driving. Do not read if it's a sensitive topic for you.*
    I woke up the next morning in a hospital bed.
    No recognition of what had happened the night before.
    I woke up and felt a sharp pain in my head, another one in my arm.
    I had the aftertaste of alcohol in my mouth.
    I got up and I felt a harsh tug at my arm, I looked up and saw an IV.
    I saw my parents sitting infront of my hospital bed, sleeping peacefully.
    They were away at a buisness trip in Florida.
    They weren't supposed to come back until later tonight.
    Something most of happened.
    I said their names and immediately my moms eyes were opened.
    "Jenna." My mom said in a whisper.
    She woke my dad up, "Jeff. Jenna's awake."
    My dad woke up a few moments later. He looked at me and gave me a grim look.
    "I'll go get the nurse." He said.
    I could tell he was gonna cry.
    "Mom," I began, "What happened last night?" I asked her.
    My mom covered her mouth, tears came to her eyes.
    "You really don't know, do you?" She asked me.
    I shook my head.
    "Jenna, a drunk driver hit Sarah last night. She's in critical condition. Under life-support."
    "How did she get hit?" I asked.
    "She was waiting for a ride."
    "Mom..... Who was the drunk driver that hit her? Was it someone she knew?"
    My mom looked at me, tears burst into her eyes.
    "Jenna..... You hit your sister last night."
    A few moments later, the whole room was spinning.
    The next thing I knew, I was in a deep sleep.
    ~~~~~~~
    I'd like to give this story in memory of my friend who was almost killed by reckless, drunk driving.
    When things go bad, it can get worse.
    When things go bad, someone has it better.
