Dear friend, as you know Your flowers are withering Your mother's gone insane Your leaves have drifted away But the clouds are clearing up And I've come reveling Burning incandescently Like a ba...rd on the burning sea You're just like your father Buried deep under the water You're resting on your laurels And stepping on my toes Whose side are you on? What side is this anyway? Put down your sword and crown Come lay with me on the ground You come beating like moth's wings Spastic and violently Whipping me into a storm Shaking me down to the core But you run away from me And you left me shimmering Like diamond wedding rings Spinning dizzily down on the floor You're just like your father Buried deep under the water You're resting on your laurels And stepping on my toes Whose side are you on? What side is this anyway? Put down your sword and crown Come lay with me on the ground
Be Fruit Loop in a bowl of Cheerios Be a crayon in a box of markers Be a flamingo in a flock of pigeons Be a butterfly in a bunch of caterpillars Be an angelfish in a tank of goldfish & most importantly Be YOU in a crowd of THEM
You know that feeling you get whenit shirts to breath? No, I'm not talking about running six miles breathe.. I'm talking about when you lost something or someone important. When suddenly all the butterflies in your stomach just drop. And they're not fluttering anymore? When you feel like your ribs are crushing your lungs because you can't breath. You're breathing but you're not there. There's a piece of you that's missing like it's just gone where did I go? Nobody really knows where it went but we do know when it leaves and you feel it maybe not right away but in the aftermath of it all. That is when you feel it. That's when you feel the butterflies go.
