to experience it, so only he and i can judge it.
it was my fault because things only started going bad when i
showed it and cried. because if i just decided to keep my
thoughts to myself, we'd probably still be together
today.

Your mood is going to fluctuate sometimes (you're only human) but his desire to be with you should not be based on that fluctuation. If he's looking for someone who pukes rainbows and s.hits sunshine 24/7, he's going to be very disappointed, because nobody is perpetually happy. So, yes, it IS his fault for being too immersed in immaturity and unrealistic expectations to understand this. The bottom line is, you shouldn't ever have to hide a part of yourself from the person you're with in order to make them feel comfortable/satisfied.
