This poem is a true story, I wrote it to bring justice to what he did to me. I am attempting to prosecute my own father, but the chances are small that he will get what he deserves for ruining his own daughter. I posted this for people who can relate in some way or can appreciate poetry for what it is. I want to say this in court but even this isn't enough proof of what happened to me when I was little. I found what made me happy, and I hope that in your seemingly dark life you will find the same somehow. Be strong and know you aren't alone in this. Everyone has a story, tell it to the world.
“You can only lose something that you have, but you cannot lose something that you are.”
“Any action is often better than no action, especially if you have been stuck in an unhappy situation for a long time. If it is a mistake, at least you learn something, in which case it's no longer a mistake. If you remain stuck, you learn nothing.” 0reply
