I'd love to be able to
spend an entire night with some
people.
Where you
don't sleep, you just stay up in each other's
company.
Because in those
wee hours of the morning when you're exhaused, but
exhilarated with energy at the same time, people are more
themselves then they'll ever be.
The sleepiness allows you to be more honest than you
normally would, since your judgement is a bit fuzzy.
The exhilaration gives you just the right amount of
courage to say those honest things.
And for some strange reason,
even the next morning when people remember how honest they
were, it's okay. It wasn't embarrassing, people
aren't mortified, there's no regrets.
