Reblogging a sad quote on Tumblr
doesn't mean you are deep
Reblogging an intelligent
quote doesn't mean you are insightful
Reblogging a picture of a
starving girl, a suicidal message, a scar, or a bottle of
pills
doesn't mean you
understand what its like to feel pain or what its like to want to
die
Quotes get shared all the
time
It doesn't mean whoever
uses them is automatically poetic, deep, or beautiful
The beauty, the
insightfulness, the poetic factor,
that all comes from the
person who originanlly created the quote or piece of writing
themselves
who was brave enough to
share it amongst strangers
I know everyone likes to
think they are unique
And there is no doubt there
are some amazingly wonderful and unique people out there
But the fact is, lots of
people are so much alike, they do the same things every day, they
have the same thoughts,
the same style, the same
interests...it takes bravery to be an individual
you can't be afraid of
who accepts you and who hates you for it
because no matter what you
do, someone is always going to dislike you for some
reason
you can't please
everyone and you shouldn't have
to

The point of this is to get people to understand that we all get sad and go through hard times, yes...not all of us are actually struggling with mental disorders, depression, suicidal thoughts, eating disorders, or self harm-Sadness and anger and different from being mentally ill and depressed...it is fine to relate to someone else, its not okay to promote the pain of someone else. its not okay to promote pain at all....because all it does is make other people think its cute or that its okay to do it, and its not
