Your parents love you. But that doesn't mean they let you do whatever you want, because they know what's good for you.
Some people say it's the same about God.

I'm mainly referring to being gay and im not talking about my parents. I know parents know what is good but they should love their child no matter what sexuality they are. And can we not bring God into this? Thank you

No you arent offending me at all! I see where you're coming from. I love my parents so much its just sometimes not fair but I may only be thinking that cause I'm a teenager. And I have nothing against god I just don't talk about that so yea
