Y'all ready for a rant?
Fantastic.
Why do people break up with someone because they're bored?
Okay, it's one thing to break up with them because they did something wrong
(And by wrong, I don't mean they aren't perfect
I mean that they cheated or whatev.)
But to break up with someone because you are bored
Just.
Ugh.
What the hell.
You shouldn't get 'bored'
Relationships are not a game.
Then they go and use the 'I just wasn't feeling it' excuse
I'm sorry but
If you weren't 'feeling it'
You should've never asked them out in the first place
And anywho,
You should know if you were 'feeling it' by the first few dates
I feel as though this is why people are scared to date
All the good people are hiding because they got smashed to bits over someone not 'feeling it'
Or they heard stories of people who did
I am legit 5000% done with this generation

oKAY SO IM GOING TO RANT ON THIS RANT READY SET GO.
Here's what I think. If you no longer want to be with someone, you shouldn't have to be and you shouldn't have to feel like a horrible person if you aren't happy. "Not feeling it" is a perfectly good reason to break up with somebody as long as you aren't being a b/tch about it. An unhappy relationship won't end well in the long run and it usually just results in things like cheating. So yeah... You may be happy at first but things change. If you genuinely do not want to be with someone, you shouldn't have to.

I agree. Don't drag it out or try to force it. If you don't feel it, end it.

You ARE this generation. Just because you have a problem with a few people doesn't mean that you have to hate everyone. That makes you a grinch.

Honestly, I think that's a perfectly fine reason to break up with somebody. I would rather be single after a stagnant relationship than be with somebody I don't care about in that manner (for if I loved them so, I wouldn't be bored).

I mean, I guess the way it went down wasn't the best, by your reaction. But I wouldn't fight that with your argument.

Don't worry too much, though. People are...impossible. But better that you know now as opposed to later, right?

(I didn't mean to write so much. Da.mn.)

I really hope it isn't as black and white as this, because i broke up with my best friend and it was the hardest thing that I've ever done. He didn't do anything wrong, but I fell out of love with him. Idk.

No, it isn't. Like that was hard for you to do.
This d/ck did it without even batting a lash, he felt like no remorse or anything, y'know?

Yeah I know what you mean. I don't understand those people at all. I don't get how they could possibly do something like that.
