It was a beautiful kind of sad
The kind that caught the
light
On her tear
That traced her cheek.
It was in the silence
That engulfed the room
Where the world was then
Seemed to be shattered.
It lurked in the halls
Behind every shadow
Where the dusty light
Could not quite reach.
It danced slowly in her eyes
Grey like the sky
Brimming with surrender
And her very own demons' shadows.
It was a beautiful kind of sad
But sad nonetheless.
