You sit in front of your screen half the night
and you wonder why you can’t be as pretty as the girls
you’re staring at. You wonder why you can’t have
her eyes, her hair, her skin, her body or her talent.
It’s okay, we all do it. But don’t lose yourself in
it all. There are still people left in the world who are going
to look at you, look past your shell and see you for what you
are. Then something will happen. All that you are inside, will
slowly start to make you more beautiful than anyone you see on
that screen. Close down those tabs you have open right now,
close them down and reach for the nearest mirror. Look at
yourself, smile, say hi. See that person? That person looking
back right now? That’s you, just you, there’s only
one of you in this universe. You know what that makes you?
