Think about a friend for a second. A real friend
that you actually care about, by the way. Or just anyone you hold
dear in your heart. Think about them for a few seconds. Think
back to when you met them, no matter how long ago it was. Now
think about the time before you met them. How different
was your life? Was it any different at all? What has meeting this
person change? Is the change they made - if there is any -
insignificant? Or did it completely turn your life around?
Exactly how important is this person to you? Think about it.
I'm not trying to get anything out of this, I just want you
to think. I find it nice to think people who you didn't
even know existed for some time can suddenly be so important
to you. It's just feels nice. So, do this friend a
favour, and go thank them. Because some people in this world are
just amazing.

Ahhhhhhhhhh, this is old, but me likes.
It's interesting, because a lot of the people I'm "close" to haven't impacted my life a whole lot. It's mostly just people with whom I've merely crossed paths that have changed my life.
