i understand where you're coming from but sometimes teachers just turn up to get paid and don't actually do the teaching. if they're not doing their job properly and we're not learning, then i don't think you can blame us for not concentrating hard enough in class.

i feel bad for all my teachers. I swear all of the class hardly does the work and pay attention there is a selected few that actually does. And yet they yell at my friends and i when we agree with the teachers and say they don't do anything. Last week we had a big situation in lab and i told our one conusler that we have and it was just beyond crazy. We get lecture and everything and then they mad about but it's there fault. Or they get mad when the teachers favor us because we actually don't mess around and do the work. Like yeah my friends and i do goof off and laugh but we know when to stop .

I totally agree with you, but there is no excuse for a teacher that just doesn't WANT to teach. My math teacher literally teaches nothing. We are the honors class, and the average of the class is in the low 60s. I loved math before her class. I always ask for extra help, and she just tells me to go on youtube or look in the textbook. During class, she just gives answers to problems, she doesn't even go over how to do them. My math teacher is also impossible to get fired, as her mom is the head of the whole school math department. This teacher is making me hate math, and that really makes me sad.

Please, my science teacher could not give a crap about anyone in my class. She wouldn't care if we passed or failed, learned a lot or didn't learn anything, tried or didn't try. And that sucks. It sucks when you have a teacher that just doesn't care.

I completely agree with you but teachers don't have low salaries.

Depending where you live teachers get paid 45-50,000 going into the job. Not many careers do that. Every year their salary goes up. Depending where you live you can get up to 100,000

The high salaries are for prep and private schools. I go to a dingy public school with curtains as walls and textbooks from the 1990s. Do you think the teachers at my school are getting paid that much?

Yes. That's the average. It's not for private or prep. I'm getting my liberal arts degree for Elementary school. My mom teaches middle school and she gets around 60,000. Like I said it just depends on where you live but that's the average. They do get paid a lot. I have tons of respect for teachers and I agree with what you said I was just saying that they do get paid more than what most people realize.

Our English teahcer isn't doing his job, he comes over, and just makes you more confused about what you're meant to be doing. And when you ask for help he goes "I just explained it!" It's not just me. It's the entire F*king class that doesn't get it.
