I am, actually.
And my point isn't that I would live a lonely and blah life constantly being depressed over a guy I dated in high school. I mean that yeah, I'd get over it, I'd move on, but I'd never love anyone this same way again.
And I'm saying that from experience. Because I dated this same guy three years ago, and after we broke up I dated and hung out with and liked other guys and not once did I feel this way.
I'm not naive enough to think my life would be over just because of a guy. It was the meaning behind it.

That really is too bad or maybe not, but hey I really am glad to read this because I can see a lot of attachment building up in three years. With that said living in the past is no way to live so if a guy were to leave you, then you should move towards the future, but you already know that. Oh and maybe you wont love the next guy the same way but you cant say you wont love the next guy in a way just as good, if not better then the way you loved the last guy. Your quote is good but not because of your meaning behind it but because its something a lot of people can relate to. Lets face it, if you read your quote and then what you have told me you'll see that they conflict which each other. Wow, I miss talks like this and I think I can now fave this quote having talked to you about it. hahaha :)
