It's sad to see so many people go, but if we want more wittians to come back, then there's a lot of things that need to change. I had another account before this one, and I left because of all the damn directioner quotes. They were literally EVERYWHERE. It was ridiculous. It's not as bad anymore as it used to be. Not only that, but if you share your opinion on here you get so much hate, and tbh that's just stupid considering the majority of us are here to get support from others and see that we're not alone in what we're dealing with.

i used to get about 2000 notifications per day for posting about 5 to 6 quotes~~ and the top quot of the day would have at least 1000 faves/comments!! the other day i was /shocked/ when one of mine got 400 because that is so, so rare these days for anyone's quote. but leaving now would create a downward spiral of general badness so we should all just stick it out and see if we can get more people on here?

Actually witty feels a lot more like a family when theres less people, plus theres a lot less fighting and bullying. Besides, its not about how many faves a quote gets. As long as someone sees and enjoys it, its worth it

That quote had 70 faves because all the top quotes had been posted 24 hours ago, and they had only just gone on to the top quotes page. They gain like another 100 after like two hours.

But yeah, people are leaving and it's kinda sad..

Go on omegle and type "teen quotes" or something similar into the little interest box and then spam to anyone you connect with. Also, if anyone has a fairly popular tumblr or twitter or stardoll or whatever account (and I know some of you guys do, don't lie), it wouldn't hurt to advertise Witty a little.

I think my most popular quote has nearly 1000 faves. I left two months ago because this place started going downhill, and I just logged back on the day before yesterday and all I had to say was wow. This place isn't what it used to be back when I joined in 2011.

It's not even fun anymore. It used to be so fun, working to get a top quote. Working to get over 1000 faves. But now it's not hard to get a top quote.
Even though everyone says they hated it, the competitiveness really is what made witty fun and worth while.

I do find it peculiar how it seems everybody has left. However, I do like the current Witty better than the way it used to be, regarding quotes and such.

In any case, I may have another member joining soon. Time shall tell, I guess.
