Witty Profiles
I'm
getting kinda sick of people complaining and wanting the
"old Witty" again. Because to be honest, the
old Witty wasn't perfect. It was far from it.
Sure, it had more users and not as many people had tumblr
quotes, but let's not focus on that for a second.
The old Witty wasn't nearly as pleasant as it is
now. There were more people, which resulted in more
problems. More bullies. More disrespectful bratty teenagers.
You wanna know what happened if you posted one thing that
someone didnt like? Even if it was a joke? People latched onto
you and wouldn't let it go for anything. But of course, no
one considered that inappropriate because tons of people did
it.
It was totally normal to be rude and just plain mean. It
wasn't a family.
What we have now, while not as large as a community, is more
of a family than Witty had ever had.

I miss pretty and original quotes but I don't miss all the annoying little cliques that used to exist.

I mean, we can't change anything about it, but I miss all of the awesome people and quality quotes. Sure, there was drama but for those of us who stayed out of it, it was not a big problem. Oh well, the past is the past. xoxo

thats the problem. the amount of quality quotes has gone down since people have left. people are still rude and get butthurt over the littlest things.

I have to disagree. We still have many wittians who post original things. We've gotten better with the whole tumblr thing, but it's not like we can force people to stop posting what they want.
I don't think the quality of quotes has gone down. And also, if someone were to go as far as some of the people did back in 2011 with harassing people then everyone would have a fit. We've gotten rid of so many bully accounts and are so much nicer and more supportive than people were in the old Witty.

Oh well. My first account was in 2011, and before making that first account I had been lurking on witty for stardoll presentations for just less than 2 years. My argument is completely irrelevant I guess.
