If I am to be coompletely honest, if any of you met me in real life you'd probably come to learn that I'm most likely that girl in school you hate. And, before you go around judging people, let's take a look to understand that there are reasons that people act & dress the way they do. And to adress some of the things I've seen girls complain about on here.

Girls who act stupid
Fun Fact: I'm actually smart. I got a perfect score on one of my finals. I got near perfect scores on the rest I took. When I was 6, I had the reading level of the average 13 year old. My school wanted me to skip two grades when I was in the 1st grade. In one of my classes I had, with almost all juniors and seniors, we had to take a town mandated test and I scored in the 90th percentile, which higher than almost all the class.
But, I act stupid. I act like a complete airhead. I used to do poorly in classes. And, do you want to know why? It's because I want attention and I want to fit in.
Growing up, I was always that weird, smart girl. The one who knew the answers to all the questions. That's all I was known for. I didn't have that many friends, no one wanted to talk to the weirdo who almost skipped two grades.
Once I was 13 or 14, I started accting like I was dumb. I stopped using my common sense, and I actually almost failed most of my classes. And, do you know what? I was no longer that weird girl. People saw me as normal, and I actually made a lot of friends doing that.
I also do this because I want attention. I have a twin brother and, no matter what, it's always him above me. "Oh, Haleigh? You got an A? Alright. Oh, Cameron, you got a C+? Let's go out to dinner to celebrate Cam's grades." or it was, "Haleigh? You got a C? You're grounded. Cameron? You got a C? Great job!" When my cheerleading team won competitions, maybe I'd get to go out to dinner. Maybe. When my brother played one hockey game, we did whatever we wanted. It may sound selfish, but after
years of being pushed to the side, I wanted attention. And I used the quickest, most harmful way to get attention--even if it was negative.

Girls who wear tight shirts, etc./go out of their way to look good
I dress like this, okay? I almost always have a low cut shirt on when I go to school and I have worn belly shirts to school more than was appropriate. I wake up early in the morning to do my hair and makeup, which takes about an hour on a good day. And, I'll tell you why. It's because I like what I wear and that it's okay to look nice. I'd rather dress up, or dress in a fashion you don't find "appropriate" because that is what I like. Honestly, if a person dresses slightly inappropriate or goes out of their to look good and that causes you to feel disdain towards them, you should probably look in the mirror because, to be blunt, people don't find the baggy sweats you have probably worn every single day attractive.

Skinny girls who complain about being skinny/skinny girls who are skinny
News flash! We all have different body types! Some of us are heavier, some of us are skinnier, some of us are right in the middle. Some of us are short, some of us are tall, and some of us, once again, are average. And, you know what? That's okay! That's perfectly fine! But ripping on someone because of their body type is not okay at all.
I have been called, "too skinny". I have been told I looke "anorexic". I have been told I need to "eat more". I've been told by people on Witty and people in real life that having a thigh gap is gross, because they associate it with being incredible skinny (when in reality it's bone structure, but let's not get into that). Did you know I have cried because of the stuff people have said to me? I wore baggy sweatpants and sweatshirts because of this.
And then there are girls who are skinny and complain about being skinny and, yes, I am one of them. "Omgzz you complain about being skinny?!1?! There is something wrong with you!!11!1"
I don't control my weight. I have no control over it, whatsoever. I have an overactive metabolism, which causes me to lose weight without effort, instead of having me stay the same weight (like a fast metabolism would) or gain weight (like a slower metabolism would). I have severe mood swings, I shake almost all the time, lower bone density, decresed muscle strength, etc. I don't even have enough body fat to keep me warm when it's raining, even if I'm wearing three shirts, a sweatshirt, have a blanket wrapped around me, and am wearing two pairs of pants.
So, if a girl complains about being skinny, she is not being rude or bragging about her weight. In a lot of cases, which are similar to mine, she really is too skinny (not through any effort of her own) and it is leading to health risks.

I could really go on all day about this stuff, but I doubt anyone will actually read it. So yeah, bye. Feel free to still judge me, and the people who act the same way as I do, because not understanding something gives you the right to judge? Correct?

My sister is almost 21 years old and a size one. She's really freakishly skinny and I know that it bugs her too when people say things like "Guys like curvy girls... only dogs for for bones."
I love this quote. It's great:)

I love this so much! I can relate to all of it except the skinny part. I have a naturally wide body, and people used to give me advice of special diets to help me loose weight. I don't think people understood how much words hurt.
So, yeah, let them judge. They're not even worth listening to.

Thank-you, you relate to me. Like I just have a really fast metabolism which makes me really skinny. But when someone says " you need to gain more weight" or "Eat some Hamburgers" it is the same as saying to a person "go on a diet". Thankyou x

EXACTLY! I hate when people make quotes complaining about these things when they don't even know the story behind it. I have the same problem with my weight, people make comments on it all the time when I can not fu.cking change the fact that I am thin without eating unhealthy amounts of food and I think that eating a lot and having unhealthy, large amounts of food to gain weight so other people don't comment on it is almost just as bad as starving yourself and eating unhealthy, small amounts of food to gain weight.
And people have the right to wear whatever they want, if you got something to show off and you want to then show it off!
and as for people making fun of you for being smart, don't even bother with people who will be mean to you for how smart/not smart you are. That's their own problem.

Honestly, I can't believe people still can't think for themselves before they judge. I can relate to the skinny part, ugh. It's not that I weigh little, it's just that i have a long waist which makes me look long. But I ended up gaining 10 pounds to shut people up.
Someday, I hope you will feel that you don't need to fail at school to be accepted. People would give anything to be as smart as you are, you are gifted.

I've been called all of those skinny names and I haven't even started high school yet.. Some people are seriously convinced I'm anorexic and never believe me when I say I'm not. My BMI is 17.5-17.8 (underweight) and one girl told me I "have the body of a five-year-old." I have this thigh gap, and my best friend loves it but everyone on witty is always saying they're bad and I can eat whatever I want and I won't pick up too much weight, and like, I can't control it. It hurts just as much as being bullied for any other body weight.
With the clothing: I don't particularly wear belly shirts but hey, if someone wants to wear them, let them.
Lastly, my older sister is one of those people who wear sweats and hoodies to school everyday and I'm like the opposite. I feel like have to look presentable.

I'm just like that. Except I'm not that smart but I'm pretty smart. I do complain about being skinny. Sometimes it hurts because my skin stretches on my bones really tight at times, and really hurts. I probably eat more than anyone on this website, so I hate it when people tell me to eat more. And people get losses when I obsess over my appearance, when they were the ones who teased me about not caring. I wear what I want, and eat what I want. IF I want to go out and eat 100 pounds of Sea Salt and Vinegar chips, then I will. My mom doesn't care about what I wear or eat.
