Chapter Thirty Four

I pulled my arm away and he sighed.
"It's okay to hurt," he said quietly, pulling me closer to him and putting my head in his neck. "I just don't want you to do that kind of stuff to yourself."
"I can't help it," I said. "It feels good."
Niall sighed and took my hand. He put his lips below my ear and lightly kissed it.
"You'll never love yourself half as much as I love you," he said quietly, his nose lightly brushing against the side of my head. "And you'll never treat yourself right, darlin,' but I want you to. If I let you know I'm here for you, maybe you'll love yourself like I love you."
He moved his head to look at me, and I had tears stinging my eyes.
"Baby please don't cry," he cooed, and I blinked, letting the tears out of my eyes.
"I trust you," I said and he wiped the tears off my cheeks.
"I trust you just... Please help me stop," I begged and he nodded and pulled me to his chest.

~NIALL'S POV~

"I trust you," she said quietly and I wiped the tears off her cheeks.
"I trust you just... Please help me," she begged and I nodded and pulled her to my chest.
She trusts me? I didn’t expect that. I can honestly say I never expected those words to ever come out of her mouth, let alone be directed towards me. I was touched. She trusts me.
“Do you really?” I asked her quietly while she lightly sobbed in my neck.
“Yes,” she said and she wiped her eyes and looked at me. “I do. Why are you so shocked?”
“You’ve always told me you don’t trust,” I said quietly. “I’m just surprised that, of all people, you trust me.”
With that, she got out of bed and put on a pair of shorts. I sat up and against the wall, as she went over to the other side of the room and sat on the floor.
“What are you doing?” I asked her.
She buried her face in her knees and sobbed.
“Fighting the urge to cut,” she said quietly, and I hopped out of her bed and sat down next to her.
I put my arm around her and pulled her to my side. She buried her head in my shoulder and I kissed her forehead.
“I’m here,” I whispered. “You’re not alone this time around, Cole.”
She looked at me, wiped her tears, and nodded.
“I will be in two days,” she said and I sighed.
Two days. The end of summer vacation.

I am up at five o'clock in the morning writing for you people so there better be faves and comments on these next chapters. I could be sleeping. What am I doing with my life?

He doesn't... That's what the possible sequel is for... So I taste good boiled in chicken broth and then put in a sandwich with American cheese... Put the Rachel sandwich in the microwave for a few moments to melt the cheese... I'll be waiting

You said you were gonna eat me and he gives her a promise ring that he'll find her again and remember how he promised to give her a great summer and last time she "graded" him it was like a C+? Well she gives him a little "report card" but doesn't let Niall read it until they drive away and then her and her dad drive away, leaving Niall smiling with two tears streaming down his cheeks... He got all A+'s
