I will only say this once. I should not have to, and will not repeat myself.
If you ever in anyway whatsoever disrespect someone in the military, or their family, I will personally escort you and sign you up for the military. Those men and women have more guts and courage than you probably ever will, and they deserve all of your respect. I can't count on one hand how many family members I have out their risking their lives for us, and if you have the nerve to say something bad about them, we're going to have a major problem. I do not care if you are against war, you respect people that are out there fighting for your freedom.

(Not entirely relevant) I don't get why people in the military are treated like they are better than everyone else, they aren't. Just because they are in the military or something like that doesn't mean they are any better than anyone else and just because you aren't in the military or something like that also doesn't make you any better. Every one is equally the same. c:

Amen! In one of my classes during this past school year, my teacher was talking about a few of the benefits that you get if you join the military. Well one guy, one of the popular stupid one's who loses brain cells from smoking so much, had the nerve to say how stupid that is. With me in the class and having a brother and friend already in the military and many friends joining, I went off on the kid in front of everyone. Everyone was speechless and started applauding me, even the teacher. To this day, that kid no longer says anything stupid, plus he learned to think before he speaks.

What the fck. It's a job, but they are fighting for your freedom and you have no respect? No matter what you say, there will obviously always be violence in the world. They realize that, and instead of just saying "we don't want to be violent" they understand that it would be very life risking and hard on them to go and fight for you. People like you disgust me to the extent, because these people COULD have just become a doctor or a teacher, but they didn't. They went away from their families and home lives for long periods of time to fight for your country, while risking their lives. You're an idiotic fool and I for one am disgusted by that comment. Learn to spell, please.

I just kinda hate it that people say miletary people are better than like.. your doctor or hairdresser. it's jsut a job and I have no respect for the coice you make to kill people in another country for a living in the name of freedom

There's no need to disrespect them at all. Do you think they enjoy what they have to do? No, they don't. A lot of them come back and end up committing suicide because they can't handle what they saw and/or did over there. They didn't choose that, they chose to fight for and protect their country. You may not respect what they do, but you sure as hell better show them some respect. My grandpa chose to fight for his country, and now he has health issues because of things in the water and air over there. He watched his best friend die fighting for our country. If you don't respect that, that's your problem, but I better never and I mean ever see or hear you saying anything bad about someone in the military. We will have a problem.

it's still a coice, don't like it? take another job.? Because let's face it, it's not really protecting any freedom. you can't protect your country overseas. I honestly think doctors and firefighters deserve more respect, because they save lifes

Do you even realize that if they chose other jobs, there would be no one to fight for our country!? No, you don't. They do deserve respect, but I believe more than anything our troops deserve the most respect. I'm not saying you have to agree with me, I'm just saying you better respect them. I've heard so many stories from my grandpa who was in the Vietnam war about coming back after it and people actually spitting at them. That disgusts me. You dodn't respect them? I don't respect you.

maybe it would be better if nobody fought for your county, I mean most of the war these days are about oil, not your or anybody's freedom. And i think if you talked to relatives of the people your grandfather killed, you'd see that nothing is worth that prize

You better just stop talking to me right now. You obviously don't live over here, so you don't know what it's like. They are protecting us. And don't you dare say something bad about our troops if you aren't even an American citizen. Do not do it.

I won't bother you agian, but I'm just saying this. Yhose wars your country starts, that your country sends its men to, where there men kill innocent and guilty people and get their own people killed. they affect way more then your country. not only does it kosts a lot of lives, it also costs a lot of money. It's putting your country in a bad economy and other countries start to dislike it more and more. you're deffending the politics without any good argument, so i just hope that, maybe not now, but one day you will think about the pollitics, what is shown on your television (I'm thinking about fox news) and wonder if that's something you want to support. have the best life

the fact of the matter is that a lot of respectable soliders who risk their lives aren't "pece haters" "war lovers" or "" or anything of the sort, many of them are trying to provide their family with a life, and even if they are against war, it is the only way they can make a living. so yea, i hate people who hate on soliders..... thats all
