no it's totally fine.
i would talk to your other best friend who didn't call you a bother and try to hang out with her. because the other bff is obviously trying to make you feel worse.

then it looks like she doesn't care enough. are you going into a next year? because you could try to make new friends or if you play a sport, take a summer camp for the sport to meet new people

what's the thing you don't want to tell them? you don't have to tell me if it's too personal

well this just might be my personality but if i were you i would start yelling at my parents for how hard im trying and how i'm only 14 and deserve better respect and their the reason i feel this way. there's a big chance they'd realized that they've been doing to you

hypothetically speaking, say that i do tell them, what if they still don't stop the insults and carry on like last time

That's the thing though...i'm just so damned scared. Like, shaking hands, tears and lump-in-your-throat scared. It's not one of those things that I can just overcome in the spur of the moment, it's one of those things that'll take time to overcome and i just don't know how long that'll take

Well, you only live once and sometimes you have to tell people things that can be hard but just might make everyone's lives better and if you're too scared to take that chance then you'll never know
