I don't believe that depends on the age of the person. I got into Green Day when I was eight and came back to it when I was 11 and all through that period of time my favorite album had always been NImrod. I get what you're saying, I HATE people like that, but I do not think it relies on age, y'know? (pun intended)

I know, I got into Green Day at a very young age too. In fact, I think I was like 7. I'm just pointing out that some 12 year olds, try to too hard to be different. And are forcing themselves to like things that they don't like at all.

Oh yeah, definitely. Example: a year ago a lot of people on Tumblr were listening to metalcore, and I didn't like the screaming, but I didn't disrespect it either, but now I love it. ALthough everyone was listening to it (and still is) I waited until I actually liked. I have friends who just pretend because they think I'll favor them because of it and it just makes me mad omg

Mhm. I have this friend who literally does everything I do and likes everything I like. I'm not exaggerating:3 It's like having a twin. My favorite colors are teal and pearl pink, so is my friend's. I guess it's kinda creepy, but I try to take it as a compliment^.^ She's a really nice person so I try not to get agitated:3

My one friend (same one actually,) says she loves Green Day, but only knows AI and 21CB - not even all of both of those; and claims to lloooooooooove MCR but she knows like Teenagers and maybe a few songs from Black Parade. And only I Write Sins Not Tragedies from Panic. And claims that those are some of her favorite bands. I love her, but it makes me mad
