In libraries and bookstores,
it's always quiet. But there's a buzzing silence,
different than the silence of a quiet room filled with silent
people, or the silence of a person all alone. Libraries and
bookstores tend to be filled with people reading, never uttering
a word. They buzz, though, because they are full of
life.
