You'll probably think I'm a horrible person for saying this, but this is my
personal opinion. I feel as though some people bring bullying and the attention upon themselves. If you don't want attention, don't dye your hair rainbow colors. If you don't want attention, don't wear cat ears every single day. If you don't want the attention, don't wear stuff that looks as though it's fit on Halloween. People will judge you, i's a fact of life. So, don't complain about bullying and attention when you bring the negative attention upon yourself.

People should be able to wear what they want and not have to worry about being freaking prosecuted by their peers. The peers should be envious that these kids have enough mental capacity to be original and not all mindless drones who dress the same and make fun of people for no freaking reason. It's childish and stupid and you standing up for the bullies isn't something that you should be proud of.

Whoa, there's a girl named Amber at my school who does exactly that, right down to the cat ears and multi-colored hair. Scary.

Sorry but you really don't have the right to call someone's OPINION "terrible."

Everyone's definition of normal is different. For all your know, that could be their definition of normal. It is no one's place to judge for your hair color what style clothing you wear.

I don't exactly agree with this maybe they do those things so they can get attention yes but you see they want the attention because
A:they don't have parents that give them attention so they will literally take positive or negative attention or
B:they are getting bullied and find happiness in doing those things

I would like to add that if something truly makes you happy, you probably shouldn't give a f/ck about people "bullying" you about it.

Exactly. You CHOSE to wear the cat ears or whatever KNOWING that someone was going to have some sort of wise crack about it or simply disprove of it. If it makes you happy, you should be able to ignore the so-called 'bulliers' and just go about your normal day. But besides that, I feel like a lot of people overuse the term 'bullying'. Someone laughing at your hair color is not bullying, yet a lot of people treat it as such.

I know you don't really want comments on this, so I'll make it short. I think diversity is one of the world's best things to offer, and I personally love diversity and think it should be embraced, not shamed

You're right, but it all depends on the context.

People should be able to do what they want, if they want to dye their hair a bright color than they can. People get bullied for doing things they love, and that IS the fact of life. They didn't bring it upon themselves, the bullies are the ones that decided to be a.ssholes and make fun of someone for something that makes them happy. I respect your opinion but that's what I say to it

So what if they want to dye their hair a different colour or dress differently? We got told to be ourselves, so that's what we are doing. Just because someone dies their hair doesn't mean they want bullying, maybe they just think it's nice and they like it. I know you don't mean it that way, but you're basically saying we get bullied because we're all doing the right thing and being ourselves.

Sorry if that offended you, I was just stating my opinion, and I respect yours. x

I can see where you're coming from, but I feel that you've mixed up 'attention' and 'bullying' a bit too much. & I think everyone has the right to complain, be it their fault or not. ^-^
That's just my opinion.

But dying your hair colors shouldn't bring negative attention, being different isn't a cause for negativity. Like, my hair is purple right now, I didn't do it cause I want attention, I did it cause I think it's cool and I like looking at it. You're not wrong, some people do bring it upon themselves.

I actually agree with this quote.
Of course, people should have the freedom to wear whatever they like and dye their hair whichever color they want, but they should be aware of the consequences that will bring, especially if they spend 8 hours a day in a facility with hundreds of people their own age who aren't open minded about different appearances.
Not only this, but the whole "it's who I am" argument is one of the worst excuses I have ever heard. You aren't born with green hair or piercings, and it's not embedded in your genes or your psychological being, so you can't claim that it is part of your identity. You are a human being and you are unique and "yourself" without anything artificial on.
