When I was little, I used to hate taking showers.
They were boring and a waste of my little kid time.
As I grew older I kind of liked them,
I could sing and no one could hear me.
Now I'm in high school, and I wish I could disappear,
but my shower is my best friend.
It's my place to think, to make my decisions.
It's the place where I let the tears run down my face
and the sobs of agony ring out.
My shower is my safe haven.
