Chapter Sixteen

“I see you’ve learned how to use your crutches,” Liam chuckled, making himself breakfast.
“Yes I have,” I laughed. “I’ve learned well, if I say so myself.”
“Well, count the number of people you step on today and then get back to me,” he chuckled and I smiled.
“So this is where you disappeared to,” Niall chuckled, taking a piece of the bacon Liam made for himself.
“Hey!” Liam said and Niall shrugged.
“Can I take some for me lady too?” he asked and I gave Liam a puppy dog face.
“Alright,” Liam sighed, handing Niall bacon and he handed it to me.
“Thank you, Liam,” I said like a child, and he smiled.
“You’re welcome small child,” he responded and I pouted.
“I’m not a small child,” I said, crossing my arms (or as best as I could with crutches).
“Okay,” Liam responded sarcastically.
“Niall, back me up here,” I said and he chuckled.
“I have to agree with ‘em,” he chuckled. “You’re tiny.”
“I give up!” I loudly sighed, making my way back into the living room.
“When can you get off those?” Louis asked, referring to my crutches.
“Soon,” I responded. “My back and neck feels fine, and I can walk on my own. So there’s no need for them.”
“Yay!” Sophie exclaimed.
“Why?” I asked and the two of them looked at each other and shrugged.
“Curious,” they responded at the same time and I laughed.

LOUIS’ POV

Okay, after everyone got into their own little conversation, I couldn’t help but tell Sophie that we wanted to try to get her and the other girls to open for us. I told her not to tell anyone, and so far we’re doing fine.
“So, you’re going to go to Simon today?” Sophie asked and I nodded.
“The guys and I planned it last night,” I said. “It was Niall’s idea.”
“And none of the girls can know until the concert tonight?” she asked.
“Exactly,” I responded. “So if you could get a couple of song ideas, that’d be great.”
She laughed and nodded. “I’ll try,” she chuckled.

NIALL’S POV

The girls stayed over for an hour or so, and then decided on going back to their hotel to actually get dressed. They were halfway out the door when I cleared my throat. Fizzy turned around, and I opened up my arms.
“Forgetting something?” I asked, and she laughed, coming up to hug me.
“Better?” she asked, still in my arms and looking up at me.
“No,” I said, puckering my lips and she laughed.
“You look like a lost puppy,” she chuckled, standing slightly on her tiptoes to quickly kiss me.
“No,” I whined as she skipped out the door.
‘What?” she asked, chuckling a bit.
“More,” I said and she rolled her eyes.
“I’m gonna see you in, like, an hour,” she said and I sighed.
“I don’t care,” I said, slowly walking towards her with my arms out.
“Goodbye Niall,” she chuckled, shutting the door and I smiled.
“Alright Romeo are you ready to get the girls to open for us?” Zayn asked and I laughed.
“Don’t call me Romeo,” I said.
“I’ll stop calling you Romeo when you stop getting all dazed after kissing Fizz,” he said and I smiled.
The other guys then joined in on picking on me, and we left for Simon’s office.
