Chapter one
When it comes to the first day of school, I never have much luck.
I’m not good socially and I don’t have many friends.
I’m a quiet girl and my parents are very protective over me.
I know it’s just to keep me safe but sometimes it gets
annoying. Like in first grade every day after they “dropped
me off” for school they would stay outside and watch me,
everything I did. Eventually the school found out and told me I
would have to take the bus. That was even worse though. There were
these three older girls on my bus and they used to sit behind me
and pull my hair and make fun of my dresses. Even to this day my
mom makes me wear dresses to school. I think she’s dying it
down though because she actually bought me some skirts and pants
this year. She probably thinks since I’m going into high
school that all the boys will try and look up my dress but I really
don’t think boys do that anymore.
I hopped out of bed and put on yet another dress, then did my hair
followed by my makeup and then put on some jewelry. I looked in the
mirror and did a few spins and then went down stairs to get
breakfast. “Good morning sweetie, you look beautiful!”
My mom said as I walked to the table.
“Thanks mom.” I answered.
“Are you excited for today?” she asked.
“Um I guess.”
“Well are you nervous.”
“No.”
“Ok good because everything is going to be fine. Now eat your
breakfast you don’t wanna be late for the first day of
school!” I ate my breakfast and then walked out to the car. I
got in and then my older sister got in after me.
“You don’t have to be nervous.” She said turning
toward me.
“I’m not.” I answered.
“Bailey, everyone gets nervous on their first day of high
school.”
“Well I guess I am a little.”
“Well don’t be. Nothing is gonna happen, and if any
upper classmen try to mess with you, just tell them you’re my
sister and they’ll leave you alone. And I’ll walk you
to your first class so you don’t get lost.”
“Thanks spencer. You’re a really great
sister.”
“Hey, that’s what I’m here for.” She said
as we pulled into a parking spot. Spencer walked me to my first
class and when I got there my heart started pounding.
“Bailey calm down, you’re gonna be fine.” Spencer
assured me.
“Thanks Spenc.” I said and gave her a hug.
“Now try and make some friends today.” She said.
“I’ll try.” I said and then walked into my AP
math class and there was not one person I knew form middle school.
I guess this is a good time to make new friends.
So in the first 5 periods of the day I didn’t make one
friend. I did talk to an actual person once because they were
standing in front of my locker. Now it’s time for lunch and I
don’t think it’s going to go any better than the rest
of my day was. I walked in and went straight on line to get lunch.
After I paid I turned around and started to glance around the room.
There was one empty table in the back of the room and I figured
that was better than the empty bathroom stall. I sat down and
awkwardly started to eat my food.
“Dude that’s not even funny! Stop!” Sebastian,
the most popular boy in the school yelled as he walked by my table
and sat down at the one next to me. I have to admit I was kind of
staring at him for a few seconds and then he turned around and I
freaked out. I quickly turned my head the other way and acted
normal. Out of the corner of my I saw him stand up with all of his
stuff and then his friends called out “Hey Sebastian where
are you going?” but he didn’t stop to answer. He walked
up next to me and I was so confused.
“Is this seat taken?” he asked, gesturing to the seat
next to me. I looked around but there was no one there. “Yes
I’m talking to you.” He assured me.
“No it’s not taken.” I answered.
“I’m Sebastian, what’s your name gorgeous?”
I was shocked. Did Sebastian Duke just call me gorgeous?
“I’m bailey.” I said.
“Well it’s very nice to meet you bailey.”

So guess what guys! I wrote a new story! I dont have a title though
so if you read this it would mean alot if you could coment what you
think it should be called! thanks for reading hope you liked it.
