And it's also on a different day every year. :D Which baffles me, because I'm pretty sure Jesus was ressurected on one official day. Not multiple different Sundays.

We celebrate his resurrection on Easter Sunday just saying. He died 3 days before on Good Friday, that's when we mourn.

Hey I don't know if anyone replied and answered you. His death opened the gates of Heaven so we all have a chance to enter. The gates were closed because we were all sinners, so through his holy and sin-free life up to and including death, he reopened the gates so we all have a chance at eternal life.
