Um, I guess it is both. More people see it as a Wisconsin thing though, because when I went to Atlanta this past summer, I asked were a bubbler was, and they were like "Bubbler? Are you from Wisconsin?" And pretty much every state I have been to asked me if I was from Wisconsin because I said bubbler.

It could be your accent, too. I have a slight Boston accent, so if I say bubbler, people ask if I'm from New England

I don't know. I was talking with someone, and then they asked me where I was from. Then I said the word bubbler and they were all like "Your from Wisconsin, aren't you?"
