I Jumped Down From The Tree, Looking
At The Orange-Pink Sunset.
"Oh I Wish Mother Was Here To See This." I Whispered To
Myself Running Forward, I didn't See
The Edge Of The Cliff Looking Over The Barren Western Prarie. I
Tripped Over An Old Thick Tree
Root, And Began My Decent To The Ground.
Falling.
Head-Over Heels
Falling.
Looking At The World Around Me Feeling Like I Was In A Free Fall,
Hovering A Few Hundred Feet Above The Earth. I Snap Back Into
Focus.
Plumiting, Faster And Faster, The Ground Seemed As If It Was Being
Pushed Up Twards Me To Meet Me Half Way.
Almost To The Bottom, I Close My Eyes Against The Beautiful Sunset
Around Me. "Mom," I Whisper "I Wish I Had Just Gone
And Got You, Gone And Showed You This Amasing Sunset,"
Crying Now, I Scream To The Beauty "I'M SORRY!"
My Body Like A Rag Dolls, Slams To The Ground
Bouncing.
Shifting.
Stillness.
Blackness.
I Jumped Down From The Tree, Looking At The Orange-Pink Sunset.
