It's one thing to
not be afraid to be yourself; to be able to express a desire to
act as you please, and the ability to easily disregard
anyone's criticism despite the fact that it may attempt to
bring you down. This is a notable characteristic that is admired
and envied by those with lower self esteems; me for example. But
it is a completely different situation for one to crave attention
to a point where they publicize an action frowned upon by most,
receive negative feedback from the public in which it was posted,
complain about the nasty criticism, and then threaten to fight
off anyone who dares to comment on the situation as a whole. That
my friend, is far from admirable. It's disgusting; yet
another reason to lose hope in foolish mankind. Though I do not
favor any side of the conflict, this argument represents the
stupidity of unbalanced teenage hormones, the inability to truly
be oneself, and the infinite power attention holds over this
generation.
