I feel you... I only joined Witty early 2012, but already in top sections I see quotes that have been jocked 2, 3 times over and basically every quote is not original-either from Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, iFunny, FJ, etc etc. It's kind of disappointing.

Everyone judges.
I doubt there is a single person in the world that has never judged someone.
You judge, I judge, he, she, we judge.
You have to learn to deal with it and basically adapt to it.
Some people have the consideration to barricade it within themselves while others speak freely.
No matter if they post their judgmental views by commenting or keep it to themselves, people are still going to judge you and you need to just live with it because that's how the world works. Might as well learn to coexist with judgement because it's never going away.

As to your requests of being original and commenting kind, sincere words on user's profiles, that is not something you can ask of a community of widely ranged people in which you aren't the creator or obtain any power over. Anyone may join this website and there is no guideline stating you must post original pieces of work or comment certain things. You, as a free user of this free site, don't get to decide how other free users of this free site conduct their contributions to this free site. As one of your counterarguments may be that you aren't requesting people to behave to your standards, might I remind you that your quote indeed states "Can we please just be original." Sorry, Queen of Witty, we can't morph into your ideal witty users because you asked generously. Try again later just like every other Witty user attempts to change the way of the people using this free website just like themselves. And I might add that its slightly hypocritical of you to post such a quote when I'm certain that many of this manner have been added to the database of Witty.

Witty is similar to some important life lessons many people can use a class in.
-Communities of many people with different personalities that may come and go as they please change and it is completely out of your control.
-People are judgmental. Live with it son.
-You can't put your own guidelines on a website you are a free user of.

But, your quote does prove the point that people can complain multiple times about a subject they have no power in which to alter.

If you want your idealistic Witty then I suggest that you take up computer programming, create a website such as wittyp.com, request that users pay to become a member, and then order them to do as you wish. Voila, you have the "perfect" Witty.

I know how you feel. I joined three year ago and everyday I would see the best quotes. Now I go on everyday and quickly log off out of boredom form the same old things. It might just be because I am older than most people on the site but it still feels different.

I'm not worried at all.. It's just very sad that Witty is like this now.. All you see is the same quotes and people jock my quotes that I spend a long time on and they don't even give me credit and they don't even read quotes before commenting on them.. People need to stop judging and I would be fine

Witty couldn't stay the same in the last 3 years. It's inevitable. Change happens like everything in life :) There are people who left this site, there are new people who came and we all build this site into what it is today :) We shall appreciate it. Look on the bright side.. it could be worse ;)

I know it's bound to change it's just really freaking sad that this is called Witty.. Whatever I guess I can't do anything about it and I know it could be worse.. i try to look for the good. And i know what you mean. If you're not witty popular it is impossible to get faves. I get zero faves for some quotes and it is so hard to get people to know me. But I am always tring to reach out and make witty great again!

I know...i have been on here for like a year and a half i think? but at first everything was inspirational...it was all about helping other wittians and inspiring people and sure you would have jocked quotes here and there but not even close to how many we have know. Most of the quotes are just funny ones rather than stuff that actually impacts people like like witty used to do...ugh I miss the old witty:(
