She's been faking the smile,
She's been wiping her tears,
She threw away the memories
Of the past 4 years.

She walks down the hallway,
With a walk full of grace,
But what's unknown are her feelings
Hidden behind that masked face.

She ponders and thinks,
And they think she's just dreaming
But she's just really looking back
On that warm summer evening

When her prince was hers,
When her dreams came true,
 When her dusk was dawn,
When her sky was blue.

But the sky turned grey,
and her dreams broke down,
For her Dawn was dusk,
And her prince left town.

And she fakes the smile,
Remembering the green eyes,

And she wipes the tears,
And trudges on,
On that cold, snowy night.
