I wanted to be able to call up my best friend and talk to her about anything and everything but I couldn't. I was way to stubborn to run back to Grace but I knew I should.
Using Zach was horrible and selfish but how could I give up when I was sovdamn close?
If I did, I would regret the decision forever.
I had lost Grace and Zach wouldn't talk to me. Since, Monday when Mr Creed almost saw us together the only things he would say to me were school related and that was only when it was necessary. The only text I had got from him all week was one last night. It told me his address and to be at his apartment at 7pm.
I was waiting, nervously in front of his apartment. I couldn't bring myself to knock on the door because I was scared of what he had to say to me. I flattened out my skirt before knocking and grimacing slightly. Zach answered almost automatically, he was in jeans and a t-shirt.
We stared at each other in silence for several moments before Zach said, “You look beautiful.”
“T-thank you,” I murmured, shyly. I looked around his apartment, it was a typical one-bedroom apartment, a bachelor pad. I sat opposite Zach on the couches and looked at my hands.
“I didn't think you'd come,” he said, thoughtfully.
“We need to talk,” I shrugged.
“I know...” His voice trailed off.
“I'm sorry,” I blurted.
“Me too. I shouldn't have ignored you, it wasn't the mature thing to do.”
“I get it, Zach, I do.” I paused and when Zach didn't say anything, I continued, “I totally get it if you don't want to be with me anymore, I mean, I wouldn't want to be with a child either. You should date someone your own age, someone who won't get you in trouble. I'm bad news and you could lose your job! If we do get together we'd have to sneak around and-and-” I stopped babbling and looked at Zach who was just looking at me, a strange expression on his face. After a couple of minutes in silence I got up. “I was stupid for coming here, I shouldn't have.” I walked to the door and as my hand reached to open the front door, Zach grabbed my risk and spun me around.
His warm breath caressed my lips and I stared into his captivating eyes. He leaned down, his nose brushed against mine. I bit my lip as my back hit the wall. A tingle ran through my body as Zach intertwined our hands. He kissed my bare shoulder as I inhaled his scent. His lips worked there way up my neck, stopping occasionally to nibble on my skin. I moaned, clutching his hair. I had never experienced something this wonderful before. I closed my eyes, enjoying the feel of Zachs lips on my skin. He was so gentle with me, like I was made of glass and I'd break. His lips came dangerously close to mine but he never met mine, just kissed the edge of my lips. My hands crept up his top as I felt his perfect abs and in a moment, his moist lips closed on mine. The kiss was loving but possessive and his tongue slightly swept between my slight ajar lips. As his tongue found mine, the kiss got more urgent and I smiled against the kiss before we broke apart, breathing heavily.
“Be my girlfriend?” Zach breathed.
