girl,
Who
always had her head in a book.
He was Mr. Popular,
With
his charm and good looks.
We all know this story too well,
It’s
beginning to get a bit cliché.
The good girl falls in love with the heart
throb,,
What
else can I say?
She was there by his side,
Even
when he didn’t know it.
But she felt like she wasn’t
worthy,
So she
decided to quit.
The boy was always surrounded by
girls,
All of
them were prettier than her.
So she gave up, thinking…
“He deserves
better.”
Little
did the girl know,
That the boy shared her feelings.
He fell in love with the smart
girl,
Who was always so lost into
the book she was reading.
He
didn’t do anything about it though,
He just silently adored her.
He felt as if she was out of
his league,
Because
the girl had a future.
All he was, was a jock.
Compared to her, he was a
loser.
He felt
incredibly useless,
Knowing he had nothing to offer.
The boy decided to never let her know,
That he loved her so
much.
Because whenever he looks at
her he thinks,
“I’m not good
enough.”
And it’s sad
that it had to be this way.
They’re letting
insecurities get in the way of following their
hearts.
They’re ruining a
possible romance,
Before it even
starts.
