Think about what
it would be like to get up one morning, go to school, and by the
end of the day find yourself being ushered away quietly by a
protective police officer or social worker. You look up, and see
your 8 year old classmate being carted by on a stretcher. The
dirges of the wailing emergency sirens and keening mothers tear
at your ears, but you don't understand what has happened.
Imagine telling your child they just survived a mass shooting.
Imagine being a son or daughter or mother or father who's
loved one is now no longer with us. Imagine their pain America,
and all that may come if we don't change our
ways.
